Treasury of Friends

When I was in Girl Scouts, we used to sing a song called "Make New Friends." It goes like this:

Make new friends

But keep the old

One is silver

And the other gold

The Lord has led me to many places over the years, where I have been blessed to meet a lot of excellent people. As I have moved from place to place, my treasury of friends has grown larger and larger. Sometimes, it's easy to only focus on the jewels that are on the top. Thankfully, the great riches that are underneath never lose their greatness or their value.

Life can be hectic and distracting. I encourage you to take some time to go through your own treasure trove and rediscover the wealth of your friendships.
