If God is Dead

I am amazed by the things I discover people think about. This frequently occurs when I'm watching tv and am introduced to products like Navage Nasal Cleaning Systems and Cuddleuppets (research at your own peril). This happened recently as I was listening to SiriusXM and a song titled "If God is Dead" came on. In the song, the artist asked questions such as:

If God is dead, What makes the flowers bloom?
If God is dead, What makes summer come in June?
If God is dead, Who is listening and answers prayers?

While those are intriguing questions, even more so would be if God is dead, how are we still alive? Acts 17:28 tells us, "In Him we live and move and have our being." Job 12:10 says, "In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind." It appears that if God is dead, then so are we.

Thankfully, the Bible assures us that we don't have to worry about the death of God. In fact, He did die and rose again and through it, we have eternal life (Romans 6:9-10).

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28
